The factory was planned by Mr. Hong Maoxiong, the former Chairman of Shinn Fu Industry Co., Ltd. (formerly Shinn Fu Transportation Equipment Co., Ltd.), a leading enterprise in the Taiwanese jack industry. With its production base in Chiayi, Taiwan, Shinn Fu once held over 60% of the jack production and export market share in the Taiwan region.
