Zhejiang Liftmaster Jack Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is an established factory in China specializing in the R&D, design, and manufacturing of hydraulic jacks. A subsidiary of Zhejiang Altertool Group, its predecessor was a hydraulic jack manufacturing factory established in September 1994 in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, by a specialized Taiwanese company.
The origin of the company's establishment
In the early 1990s, during the dawn of China’s reform and opening-up era, the nation’s economy boomed as it fully embraced the market economy and encouraged the growth of private enterprises. Vehicle manufacturing projects sprouted nationwide, propelling China’s automotive industry into a period of rapid development. This wave drew massive foreign investment, along with talented entrepreneurs from Taiwan and Hong Kong, eager to explore opportunities on the mainland.
As an essential product in the automotive aftermarket, car jacks naturally saw surging demand alongside the industry’s expansion. Recognizing this promising business potential, a forward-thinking entrepreneur from Taiwan traveled to Jiaxing, Zhejiang to invest and set up a manufacturing base. It was here that the earliest prototype of our company’s factory began to take shape.
