Notes on the tire removal process

1. observe the shelf life of the tire. In fact, tires have a shelf life, generally tires from the date of production inventory shall not exceed 3 years, the longest use on board shall not exceed 8 years. In fact, generally in the tire sidewall near the hub, with 4 numbers representing the production date, such as 4714, is the 47th week of production in 2014.

2. observe the pattern and color of the tires. As the old tires are badly worn, and the processing of poor quality retreaded tires is not standardized, so the pattern is shallow, and retreaded tires usually make the color especially bright.

3. observe the tire hair of the tire. The original new tires will have a lot of tire hair on the surface, these hairs will slowly disappear after 5-10 kilometers of driving, retreaded tires are unable to forge up the tire hair.

4. use the key to scratch light, see if there are traces. Due to the long service life of retreaded tires, the elasticity of the rubber on the surface of the tire is not as good as before, and lightly scratched with a key will leave traces.

5. observe whether the tread and sidewall lap is smooth. Carefully observe the connection between the tread and the side of the tire, the connection of the new tire is smooth and round, while retreaded tires are homemade tread laminated to the old carcass, there are adhesive traces in the connection.

6. key tire logo. The original tires will have raised signs on the outside, indicating the tire model, performance, production date and wear markings, genuine new tires of these signs are and tires into one, and retreaded tires are generally re-pasted on their own, with the hand can easily grasp the key off.

Maintenance and precautions

1. Before carrying out maintenance, you must disconnect the power and air supply.

2. after the end of each day’s work, must carefully wipe the machine, the sliding and transit parts are often oiled and lubricated.

3. Check the air-water separator and oil mist device frequently. When the water accumulation is too much, release it in time. When the oil quantity is not enough, add it in time (use No. 20 or No. 30 spindle oil).

4. Ensure that there is enough lubricating oil (No. 20 mechanical oil) in the reducer box and the oil level can be seen from the oil window.

Tire clamping mode

Please remove the balancing weight (counterweight) from the tire without damaging the edge of the wheel so that the jaws can properly clamp and lift the wheel. Check the wheel clamping frequently during the operation of clamping the wheel and changing the tire. The clamping of the wheel is done by the hydraulic device. The clamping depends on the structural design of the wheel and is divided into clamping from the inner cavity and clamping from the outer rim.
